dscf0594The Office of the First Lady hosted the third traditional, religious and youth Leaders forum in Kabala, Koinadugu District this past week. This particular forum focused on the districts of the Northern Province while the core objective of the program continued to be the strengthening of traditional, religious and youth networks in their knowledge and capacity to advocate for the repositioning of family planning and prevention of teenage pregnancy.

First Lady of Sierra Leone, Mrs. Sia Nyama Koroma attended the African RAND First Ladies
st-firstladies-3This past week, First Lady of Sierra Leone, Mrs. Sia Nyama Koroma attended the African RAND First Ladies Health Initiative as part of the 66th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York. The initiative was started in 2009 as a means to transform and coordinate efforts of African First Ladies to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals.
